Is this brand new out of the box? If not, please provide as much information as possible. For example, did you crash it? Try to install new firmware? Buy this Phantom used?

And every time I turn it off it takes almost 15 seconds for it to turn completely off

msinger is still waiting for an answer from post #4.

    Did you do any calibrations?
    IMU, Gimbal, Compass, Remote, ETC?

    Must be language thing,
"my drone has a major limp and doesn't even try to turn on"
    You mean the motors?

"And every time I turn it off it takes almost 15 seconds for it to turn completely off"
You mean the motors or the drone? If has a "limp" in English that would mean it has a vibration, which would mean the motors are starting.

Wow, obviously I am work today, I would never spend this much time on a computer at home.
