My DJI phantom 3 professional lost control and crash

If you don't crash them and don't over-tighten them, your props will last a long time.
They only need to be finger firm.
Tightening a quarter turn sounds too much and you should not be using a wrench.
The wrench is for loosening too-tight props after a crash.
Mine are just hand tight. I am still using my original props that came with the P3P. Am on the second set on my P3A as well. First ones chipped when it caught a car antenna (stupid personal move).

Maybe its not quite a quarter turn i do but i just nip them up, had my P3P for a year now and 100 flights in, still on my first set of props. Always did the same too with my P2+ and fc40, again only ever used the 1 set of props with each quad i owned. So in all probably around 450 flights with no worries so i'll continue doing this.
