Nice day to fly yesterday. Green will soon be gone and replaced with brown and white. Seasons pass quickly.

So Slatterly landing looks fairly close to where the sawmill was. Mt. Sinai Harbor (Old Man's Harbor) was the place where Talmadge landed his whaleboats on his raid on the Manor of Fort St. George against the British during the Revolutionary War.

Did you know that the inlet used to be on the northeast end of the harbor back then? (as opposed to the northwest, where it is now)
