.MP4 and .SRT file extension on SD card

whenever I record a video, there are 2 file on SD card, I can open .MP4 file with my MAC and view it, but can't open .SRT file, I don't know what is .SRT for? please help
 
Don`t use MAC`s, but *.SRT is on PC open with Notepad, Word or any text editor...
Its the same file used to add subtitles on videos/Series....

It contains synchronized flight data which will play as a subtitle over your video during playback if you enable subtitles in your video player, as long as both files are in the same directory. It's a video sidecar file with the flight data. Keep them together. If you don't want it, turn off video captions in the DJI GO app.
