has anyone moved the gimbal forward on the craft to keep the frames out of the shot while flying forward with the gimbal and 0 degrees. not looking for advice on pointing the camera down while flying

Nope. I can tell you from my quad builds, that doing so moves the CG, so you would need to proportionally move weight backwards to compensate for the imbalance. Ideally, all weight exists over the centre of the quad, between all motors.

It will still fly, but not stable since the front motors are bearing more weight, and will be working harder. It will feel twitchy on some axis.

If you do this, let us know how it goes!

Prob better leaving that as part of flight planning. I only get that when I fly fast, and I just edit it out of the resulting video.
