Mov file corrupted

    Hi I have a 8 minute video and it will not play on my computer it says it is corrupted but it will play on my iPad from the drone via wifi? Any suggestions I've tried a bunch of video converters and video repair programs? I have windows 10

    Did you try playing it in QuickTime?

    Yes, QuickTime says "Error -2048: Couldn't open the file 1.MOV because it is not a file that QuickTie understands."

    Hmm not sure, maybe it got interrupted or something before your bird had a chance to properly make the file or something. Sorry bro

    Was the sd cards properly formatted? Try reformatting it.

    In the DJI GO app there is a button to format the card. 3 dots top right then dig around (not home now so I cant look)

    Yes, but they are most likely gone. Pull the SD card and put it in your puter and see if it will read that way first.

    They all will but one clip that is 8 minutes long and it's the one that I really need.

    Guessing here. It plays on your Ipad, can you save it there? Then email it to yourself and see

    No it says It can save 4k video but my standard can only shoot 2.7k?

    Oh, in 4k. Did any of the converts change it to a lower format like 1080?

    They didn't covert, all the converters said it was an unknown format

    Then I'm out of guesses unless the converters were only for windows and you need an apple one, but out of my 'box'

    Download VLC and see if it can play it.

    Hmmm...not sure what else you can do. Your iPad is able to play the cached video file, not the same file on your SD card. That cached video file is not 2.7k.
