Mounting stand alone camera with Gopro

Thinking of upgrading to the P2, and want to get a gopro with gimbal. However, I want to do FPV but do not want to use the gopro for this purpose. Anyone have experience mounting two cameras, 1 with a gopro/gimbal, 1 stand alone FPV camera?

Yup. I do this.
I have a video switch inside my P2 to switch between the two cameras.

Thanks! That's probably what my configuration will look like. You also using the FPV hub?
