Can someone tell me if the motors are suppose feel like they have notches in the bearings? I wrecked the P3 into my stair case and it landed upside down. I just bought it so I am not sure how the motors are supposed to feel.

    Hey Mark,

Welcome to the forum. If you don't find what you're looking for, here in Off Topic, you might want to try the P3 Help Forum.

I have a P1 and an FC40 and the motors do not spin smoothly. It's like they have notches in the bearings, but they do not. Mine don't all have the same resistance over each hump. It's a peculiarity to this type of motor.

I believe all the Phantoms use the same type motor because of it's power to weight ratio, and the fact they are efficient.

There are some helpful links in my signature.

    Enjoy the show :D

Thanks everyone for your post. I thought I was going to have to send it in for repair after my first flight.
