Are the 2312A and the 2312 the same motor??? I need to replace one of my engines and they are showing 2 dif motors at b&h photo I heard that try are the same motor/engines I have a pro model but my motors look like the standard ones.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

The two motor versions are not compatible .
You must get the correct version to work with the ESCs in the Phantom
Compatibility Notice for New Phantom 3 Professional/Advanced Motors

I just found this out the hard way, by ordering phantom 3 motors, opening the package, finding the compatibility notice and of course, I got the wrong one's.

I'll exchange them, but I am curious how 2 identically specced brushless motors could be incompatible. Ive build countless planes and quads and as long as the ESC can handle the motor's load, its never an issue. How is this different?
