I just did a motor test the way it can be seen on youtube.

Phantom 2 V+ V2 and V3.

Motor | prop | lifting force | version

2212 | 9443 | 630gr | V2
2212 | 9450 | 680gr | V2
2312 | 9450 | 829gr | V3

Have fun with the findings.

I wonder if ESC/Firmware makes a diff.
And would you have a Phantom 2 Ver 2 lying about?

Great findings! I was always interested how much can they really lift. Can you post the link to the youtube video? I'm trying to find it but having a hard time...

For the V3 i guess i have the V2 ESC.
I suspect that the Phantom V2 all use the same setup.
That there is no difference between all models of the V2 series.
I only have the V+ in V2/V3.

Great findings! I was always interested how much can they really lift. Can you post the link to the youtube video? I'm trying to find it but having a hard time...

It was a video they made for a world record attempt over a mountain or so in Austria, thats if i recall that good.
They did some setups with different props and motors and ultimately DJI with back then only the 2212 motors with the 9443 props were the best available.
