I have to buy a 7 or 8 inch monitor for FPV. Could someone please recommend - from experience - a good monitor that does NOT blue screen for FPV. Thanks!

@Ravecreative ..the Lilliput 664W has a built in Fat Shark receiver! That has different frequecies and will NOT work with a DJI AVL58 correct?

Lilliput has two types of monitors. I imagine one would work for you.

I don't think you're reading the specs correctly. From:
    http://lilliputweb.net/664-w.html
    Code:
Wireless Receiver Channel (Option with 4 different version )(Mhz)
    CH1	CH2	CH3	CH4	CH5	CH6	CH7	CH8
    5705	5685	5665	5645	5885	5905	5925	5945
    5865	5845	5825	5805	5785	5765	5745	5725
    5733	5752	5771	5790	5809	5828	5847	5866
    5740	5760	5780	5800	5820	5840	5860 (FAT SHARK RECEIVER)
Only that last line (5740, 5760, ...) has the Fat Shark/ImmersionRc frequencies. In other words, this monitor supports all the common BOSCAM frequencies and also the ones for Airwave/Fat Shark/ImmersionRC.

It still may not be great with FatShark gear. I remember reading somewhere about a receiver that supported BOSCAM and Airwave but support wasn't complete and there was a warning about range and quality for Airwave (FatShark) frequencies. I'm not saying this monitor has that problem, just saying it could.

I'm looking forward to hearing how it works for you. I should just buy it. I've got a tiny 2.5" one coming because it looked easy to deal with. Where can I get an LCD mount for a transmitter (soon to be a FrSky transmitter)?

I can only speak from experience about the cloverleaf antenna
    It does fit

As for the immersion. I only use avl58 so I don't know

Those 3D printed mounts are superb, got mine yesterday and using exactly same monitor (black pearl) as you too, great monitor. Out of interest, what case are you using?

Is that the Duratool D00468 case? I've bought the same one.... yet to carve the foam though! That's a great job you've done on yours.

I've got that same Black Pearl screen.... I am trying to track down an internal battery for it as mine came without one :(

Guys, I am loving that monitor mount and understand they were produced by Ravecreative.

I would like to get one but have not figured out how to send a message in the forums to ravecreative to ask if they would sell me one. How do I get in touch to order and pay for one ?

    Regards

    Martin
