Minnesota Pilots

Hello all! I'm in the SW metro of the Twin Cities and in curious where TC pilots are flying? I was thinking of getting over to Minnehaha Falls but was told no "model airplane" flights at all---in all MINNEAPOLIS parks. So that being said, I'm looking for some ideas of where to launch/photograph from.

So what/where have you found to fly? I just got a Mavic a few days ago and am disappointed there's so many heliports and unpaved airstrips to be warned about. I do live within 5 miles of Crystal Airport so flying from home won't be easy, that and North Memorial choppers cruise by pretty dern low too.
