Memory Card Files

Are there any files required to keep in the micro sd card? I cleaned the memory card and erased the files i used to upgrade the drone. Will that make the p3 lose the update? I thought once you uploaded the file it saves it to the internal memory but want to double check. Thanks!

Nope. It's fine to clear it.

Fly away with a clean card and enjoy the Phantom.
Once the update's done, that's it - no more need for the update file.

It was recommended to keep the previous update as it had battery update too. It was useful when you insert a new battery.
