Hi im off to wales soon and will be going up snowdon mountain and ill be taking my p2 ,i was thinking today if it would be an issue if i flew over the summit edge or across a valley for some rising shots as the height from ground level would be way over the max altitude set limit and i had a funny feeling it may want to decend to the limited altitude or would it take my home point at the summit as the zero .

The Phantom thinks the take off point is the ground. If you descend below that point, your current altitude will then be negative. Your Phantom will not auto descend when flying over the edge though. It won't even know you flew over the edge.

Make sure you have the top of your wifi unit angle so that it is pointing at the Phantom when it is below your level or you may lose the connection.
