MAXX UAV Tripod Mount

Hey guys!!!

So I have been working on a little something for you guys.

For those of you who are into extreme long distance you know how important aiming can be when you are miles away. The solution = tripod mount.

I keep getting asked for some way to attach our Maxx UAV Evo Lite Kit (booster setup) to a tripod.

To keep in line with our range of products it has to be easy, sturdy, and most of all just work.

I'm getting close !!

I'm just trying to gauge interest and hoping to launch this officially in the next week or two.

Let me know your thoughts / suggestions / etc.

I am just printing the latest revision !! I'll slam it all together and take a photo in the morning !!

It will go on and come off just by loosening the wing nuts .. So easy assembly and disassembly.

I'm also thinking of making one that you can just drop the remote onto and slide back off, no wingnuts needed.

Depends on what people want.

Thanks yes I will be watching for this on your site like it! That will only work for the evo kit? I still have the old style sunhans?

Currently only the new Evo lite kit.

But if interest is high enough, I could probably whip something up !!

Maybe I'll have to make an upgrade promo for you lol

How does the itelite attach to this?

The antenna attaches to the bar on the remote and then this tray attaches to the clip like yours does. This just supplements the Evo lite kit. It will work for all existing Evo lite kits

Ok yes compleat set up on a tripod set up thank you!! But I am getting a better idea now! Of how it will work! Since you used in part my idea any chance of royalitys lol!!

So this would mount the Tx (which has the antennae attached to it already) to a TriPod? Or have I missed it all together ? LOL

This will attach to the Tx with the booster setup from Maxx UAV directly to any tripod.

Ok so hopefully these photos will help make more sense of it !!


This piece has the threaded Insert which can connect to the tripod's threaded post.

To attach it to the remote you just loosen the two wingnuts on the evo lite kit and slide it into the remote bracket.

Once it's all slid together, just tighten up the wingnuts
