Maximum Wind Speed

What is the maximum wind speed suggested for mapping using a P4P? (using maps made easy)

Is it better to align the flight path with the wind direction or across it?

Can a sudden wind gust affect the results?

Dont know about the 4, but when I was having some problems with MME and my 3, they recommended that the missions be flown cross wind. Wind wasn't the problem in my case, but thats another thread! I've flown successful MME missions with upper winds as strong as 15-20 MPH. Wouldn't expect a gust to affect more than 1-2 pictures which would easily be accounted for in the processing.

Thanks Richard. I was wondering about flying crosswind because the drone would have to "crab" and therefore the images would not be aligned with the direction of movement and I thought that was something to be avoided.

Actually, quads don't have to crab the same way fixed wing aircraft do. Regardless, MME didn't have any problems processing my crosswind missions.
