Maximum Distance anomaly

Can anyone explain to me why after releasing the maximum distance slider i.e white dot and not green,my maximum distance radius is still restricted to 500m. using go app.
I am still using FW 1.4.30 as everything else is so smooth and regular.
I usually do not need any more distance than this for my photography but for the odd missions this is a bit
irritating.

Did you have the Phantom connected when you were trying to do this?

I'm sorry I don't have a P3. But don't you have a program that you can use to adjust the distance limits on your aircraft from a desktop or laptop? If so, use that to change your 500 meter limit. Plug in your aircraft using a usb, bring up the software, change the distance limit.

Yes I was connected to the P3, I've tried on the ground in the air switching the slider and it just keeps me in the green circle
