Max wind?

The Phantom manual recommends not flying in winds exceeding 22 MPH. I don't fly when over 10 MPH though.

Just got back from taking photos in winds in and around 25 to 30 mph. I did 3D and pano photos that need the drone to stay put while shooting a series of photos. No problem with the pano but a little difficult for the 3D.

When asking the phantom to stay in place it, at times, drifted with the wind.

Here is the pano I shot

Very stable in wind. Since you have experience with the toy quad, that will come in handy should you lose GPS. If you didn't have that experience, I'd say calm weather is your only friend.

We've had a few very "rare" weeks here of calm weather in Oklahoma. I'm heading out in a bit for my second flight. Usually, anything less than 10-20 here is VERY unusual, with 15-25 being common. OOOOk-lahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain............... ain't just lyrics in a song!!

Pretty windy in the UK at times. You can never get perfect weather. Argh.

Just be careful with battery time, I'm in Kansas, surprised when I hit 51mph but bringing the bird back 6mph and I was a bit way out lol Had to dip down to get out of the high wind
