Max altitude - Litchi app

Hey guys,

Whats the max altitude with the Litchi app? In the DJI Go app its 500 meters, but can it go even higher using Litchi? If not, what about the Autopilot app?

The max altitude is 500 meters above the takeoff location in all apps.

So how do people go 1500 meters up as shown in several youtube videos, using Litchi? Was it possible at one point, but not anymore?

I think it's probably in the current firmware, but wasn't in the past. Have you seen any videos of Phantom 4 going higher than 500 meters?

Yeah, I think anything running current firmware is going to be limited. Since it's in the firmware of the drone itself, an app like litchi won't be able to override it.

You CAN go higher. Fly to the max altitude, then set THAT as your home point.
