Max Altitude above Sea Level?

I've been trying to justify getting the Vision Phantom to the girlfriend, and am going to be photographing her best friend's wedding in Taos New Mexico this summer so the chance to include aerial video may be just what I need. There is one major concern about flying in Taos, namely the relative lack of lift due to it's being ~7000 feet above sea level. I'd imagine at least some of you have operated their Phantoms in the mountains, did you experience any problems regarding lift?

I regularly fly at 5,000-6,000 ft. Have taken it up to over 10,000 ft and it seemed to fly the same.
