Mavic Controller (iPhone plus) Does It Fit?

Does anyone know if the iPhone plus model will fit on the new controller. I have seen some pictures that look like it might be too big.

Yeah that looks super sketchy not cradling the bottom corners. Hopefully DJI has it figured out though.

I just spotted this in the Mavic Pro Specs:

Supported Mobile Device Size
Thickness Supported: 6.5-8.5mm
Max length: 160mm
Supported USB port types: Lightning, Micro USB(Type-B),USB(Type-C)

It will not fit an iPad or an iPad mini. A nude iPhone 6 or 7 Plus should be ok, but not with a shell or a case. Kind of a bummer really.
