Map "eraser" symbol?

Hi!

Learning and reading about my new Phantom 3 Advanced before the first tour.

Can someone help me with the small symbol in the lower right corner on the map (below the lock), it looks like a small eraser, or? When I press it nothing seems to happen, but I assume it has some kind of function.

It'll clear the flight path on the map if you have the "Show Flight Route" setting enabled in the "General Settings" section of the DJI GO app.
