Does anyone know how to make phantom 3 standard in manual flight modes? Just bought it the other day.

There is no true manual mode. Nearest thing is Attitude mode.

S1 switch in center position = ATTI mode. Turns off GPS so you control the horizontal, but drone still controls the vertical (it holds the height).

As others mentioned Manual Mode was eliminated from the P3 forward. Look for a used P2 for true un-aided flight options.
