Having trouble calibrating compass. keep getting above message. It seems to do the horizontal okay, but the vertical fails. Out in the country. Not far enough away from truck, maybe?

Maybe ... hard to tell from here.

If it's constant and won't go away.
Go to your Sensor settings in the app to see what it's showing for the compass.
If there are numbers there, you should be able to calibrate the compass but if it shows zero, the compass is not connected.
Possibly the connector to the mainboard is loose or there is a broken wire in the landing gear.

New Phantom3S. Hasn't been out on a flight yet. Had a minor crash prior to this. Too windy to fiddle any longer. I'll have to wait for a nicer day, and maybe a different location. We were on a little used old road. No trees, railroad about 150 yards away. We walked away from the truck only about 40'.
