Mac w/Virtual Box - Firmware Upgrade Possible?

Hi All:

Just received my P2V today, and I'm in the process of getting all of the latest firmware installed. First off, I'm on a Mac and I know there's no Mac installation software. However, I use Virtual Box for all my (few remaining) Windows needs, and it's running WinXP.

The P2V is seemingly recognized when plugged in because the USB connection indicates "DJI CONFIF DJI CONTROLLER." However I cannot get the DJI Driver to install. (and obviously neither of the other 2 config apps: RC Assist or Vision Assist will work). Instead I get an "Install Failed" message.

Is it just not possible to use Virtual Box. Must I use Bootcamp, or get Parallels or VMWare Fusion? Anyone have any luck with Virtual Box?

Sorry…Can't help with VB…
I didn't try Virtual Box. Thought about it, but after a web search, I found a coupon code for VM Wear at a Discount and purchased it. I installed Win 7 on VMWear and then installed the DJI programs, and all went very smooth. So VMWear will work.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll have to give VMware a try.
(Or install the firmware upgrades at the office where there's still a PC.)
