I'm having terrible luck trying to get the Mac software for the Phantom 2 working.

I've tried downloading it several times from here:

http://www.dji.com/download/phantom-2-downloads/

All I get is a message saying "Phantom cannot be opened, because it is from an unidentified developer" when I try to open it.

Haven't heard back from DJI and can't handle the wait times on their customer service line.

Has anyone been able to make this software work on a Mac? Is there another place to download it from?

Thanks!

The answer is on page 23 of the phantom 2 users manual v1.04. Locate the icon in finder, control click the icon...:). Good luck

Thank you!

Clicking on the control key when opening the software for the first time and then selecting "open" does indeed allow you to choose to have the untrusted software open.

If you have trouble opening downloads from other sites, go to "System preferences" on your mac, click "security and Privacy" tab. At the bottom there should be a tab you can click to allow un-recognized developers. I had to do that for some software i downloaded.
