Hey.
I really cant figure out to get my fc40 to come home when the battery runs out.
I get i few red lights and then i falls fast to the ground.
I have tryed to adjust the warnings in Naza, but nothing helps.
To avoid going down in a lake agin, I use the "alarm" on my phone to tell when to go home. But that is abselute not the way to handle that!

What to do???

Hello Glyphofat1, welcome to the forum.

A bit more information would help a lot.
Which battery are you using?
What's your elevation?
Have you done any mods to your bird, if so, what?
Are you carrying any additional weight?
Are you adding throttle to slow the descent as you approach the ground?
How many minutes of flight time are you getting before the red lights appear?

In the Naza assistant you can change the low voltage settings . On my FC40 I had it set to go home and land.
