Love my new Phantom Vision but..

I can think of lots of things that it would be awesome if it could do. Most of these seem like software.. Wondering if there is a way to write software to control it. Some examples:

• Being able to mark waypoints while you fly and they being able to replay those way points on autopilot.
• When auto piloting various waypoints you could choose various modes. Most stable video, fastest, most accurate, ..
• Pet mode. Have the Phantom stay the same height and distance from you as you move. This would be super cool if you were biking!
• Circle mode. Have the Phantom circle a particular target. (Or maybe even circle you as you move)

All this stuff would be amazingly cool and it seems like the phantom already has all the hardware it needs to accomplish this it just needs better software. Anyone know if hacking the phantom to do this stuff is possible?

I think all of these are quite possible. The waypoints app is Allegedly on the works, if DJI releases the SDK I m convince someone will pick it up and develop something like this and way more.

A good example is the AR Drone platform, after Parrot released the SDK other (way cooler and much better) Apps started to show that would make the drone dance ETC.

So you may not be daydreaming after all!
