My p3p went into the sea 4km from me and I got her back. Here the story with video and flight logs
Sweeeeet. New feature, lands skids down underwater.
So what exactly happened. RTH not set on signal loss and the battery went low sending her to Davy Jones locker? You beat the sea this time Mal but she will be coming for you!
Or RTH couldn't make it back in time because of the wind?
Luck of the feckin Irish!!! Well done
Now tell us the rest of the story
So ahhh... what made it take dip??? Battery error???
Very drunk, 30mph winds and I decide a 4km flight is a great idea. I'm a dumbass and that's the whole story
Brilliant story and what a result. Well done
Lucky b*stard. I'll bet the cold wet mud sobered you up pretty quick....... great story.
Haa Haa,, well at least your honost!
Hope it comes back to life....
That's awesome Mal! Let us know when you get her dried and a new battery in. We'd love to know if everything is OK despite the little adventure!
Let you know in a week when she comes out of the bag of rice
Good luck man!
Keep us posted Mal
I would give it a soak in distilled water as a final rinse.
Ah she's drying now for the week. I'll leave her alone now
good news is that you are now stocked up on rice
Any idea why it did not return to home when it lost the signal ?
Or did it not have enough battery power left.
Sad and lucky..... Sorry my friend. Good luck with the dry out process....
LOL Mal! Glad you got her back. Great story, I'll try not to make the same mistake.
It's a very easy one to make. Wonder should I have RTFM
