So I decided to do a little night flying tonight and my iPhone 6 said it lost signal? Luckily I could see the lights on it and returned it to home manually. I was about 1100 ft. Out. Can someone explain to me what to do in future reference to this to get it reconnected again safely and get it home? I freaked out a little when this happened.

if you are flying manually, make sure you set a Proper Return To Home altitude. If you start to lose signal bring the bird back toward you or try higher altitude

Your question was kind of vague, check out a couple of old threads.

Best Method to RTH?
Lost signal (but not really)
Lost Signal, P3S Hovered Instead of RTH
Lesson learned from crash by RTH because flying with a low battery
