Welcome to the forum, freeflight. I live on the west side, in Gates. Probably too late to get together this year, but give me a shout in the spring.
Ryan, I've scouted flying areas on the west side of the county, and I do a lot of my flying out of the recreation park off Ridge Road in Clarkson, probably 10 minutes south of you. It's deserted most of the time, nobody bothers me, and I get some very respectable range flying south with very little interference. For anyone in the Chili area, I've done some flying off the top of the hill at the south end of Black Creek Park. Never had anyone bother me there either.
