Lookie what I just bought [Probably a Scam]

Should you have to return anything? You paid for what you thought was a Phantom. It never arrived. So there is nothing to return, no?

Bit hard to prove that you didn't get something as well.. You didn't get it. Maybe show Paypal and Ebay some thin air :D

The scammer had proof something was received. Even if it was junk. So the junk had to be returned with PROOF.

So we could all make a quick buck by offering people a Phantom for £20, sending them a box of cereal and then requiring them to return that cereal at the most costly way, which would cost more then £20 so there's no point?

That's really stupid and in such situations, a return shouldn't be necessary. It's obvious that a scam has occurred so Ebay should just refund people and ban the sellers.

They should do a refund but don't. They do stop them, but like dirk stated, they just use a different name.
The fact IS that you received something, even if wrong. Ebay and/or PayPal have no idea what you received. They are not coming to your house to see what you got. So proof you returned it IS required to get a refund.

Its really sad how many scammers are in ebay... But IP bans wont do jack because they can always be with dynamic ip's....
