I just want to make sure I understand this. There are 2 signals at work when the P2V+ goes up ( assuming GPS lock has occurred. A 2.4 frequency that is associated with the wifi FPV and a 5.8 frequency that is associate with the range of the P2V+. When modifying a DJI remote you have to address both of the issues to get increased range and still keep a video signal .

Thanks
Richard

Correct. If you increase the range of the 5.8GHz remote control (tx), and wish to maintain an FPV through that entire range, you will need to also extend the range of the 2.4GHz video feed (vx) wi-fi.
