Litchi with latest firmware?

Hi All,
I have a P3 standard and I'm thinking of purchasing the Litchi app in order to fly waypoint missions that may extend the RC range and then return back.
My question, does anyone know if it's ok to go ahead and update the firmware to the latest one which came out this week or should I (could I) us stick with the previous firmware.

I wouldn't, I'd give it a while to learn if any issues are present. Both litchi and autopilot users have had problems with new firmware releases at various times.

If I'm understanding your statement- it seems problems are, on occasion, identified in 3rd party apps following release of new firmware and SDK. DJI eventually manages to resolve these issues (presumably working with the developers) in later firmware. We have seen this with Litchi and autopilot on earlier occasions. There were notable issues with Autipilot where RTH would not initiate if signal was lost during a WP mission and Litchi had RTH issues with certain flight modes on some phantom AC.
