Lines in photos

Hey guys another question for ya, I have noticed after touching up a couple of my photos I get noticeable lines like those in the picture I attached, is there a setting tweak I can do to remove them or do I need to start doing all of my photo editing in the .raw format?

I always shoot everything in D-Log/Raw. You are getting the most data possible that way. If you use the built in processing you lose some data which is never good. The initial look is flat but post processing will yield a great image.
What editing program are you using?

I use the Adobe products on a Mac and I have never seen that, but I also have never edited pre-processed data.
