Lightroom help? Photo merge

can anyone help me?

I wanted to play with the light room 5 photo HDR merge. My options are all greyed out.

I selected 3 pics but option was greyed out?

Just checked my 2 macs with Lightroom. Lightroom 6 has the hdr function. Lightroom 5 does not have the hdr function. That was one of the main reasons I upgraded to Lightroom 6

Lightroom 5 does not have the built in hdr function. It relies upon an external piece of software as you point out. Lightroom 6 has hdr and panorama photo options built in. If your version 5 Lightroom menu is greyed out then for some reason Lightroom is thinking that it cannot find the external software that you used before (or haven't used yet) for that particular function.

Dazzauk, LR 5 will use Photoshop to merge the photos. Perhaps you don't have Photoshop and that's why the dialogue "Merge to HDR in Photoshop" is grayed?
