Has anyone done any long exposure photography with their dSLR and flown their drone in the shot to get the camera to pick up the light that comes from the drone?

...started experimenting with dragging some light tubes about:

...but after analyzing the flights on healthy drones I noticed I was scorching the engines at like 150 degrees - I will be trying to come up with lighter lights for future painting flights...I think over still water would be a good tableaux with lots of reflections...
