Just an observation, but it seemed like every morning there were new reports. That seems to have quieted down. Maybe that's a good thing.

I'm on 51 flights with no cracks and hoping it stays that way.

I'm still on the rubber band method.

ETA: the black stuff on my bird is from peeling off a light strip I had on there. Haven't gotten around to cleaning her up yet.

Are those marks from a crash?

I suspect it's because DJI stepped up to the plate and offered to repair or replace all units that had cracks. All you had to do is give them a call. Either that or apply one of several suggested fixes and move on.

well sent mine P3a with 18 flighs on it back to Amazon on day 28 of there warrenty. It had cracks as far as even a hole on both back arms.
I have no doubt the mounting hubs were broke off if I were to open. Love Amazon boxed up Friday and sent back got notice today my new one will be here on Tue Now that's customer service DJI TAKE NOTE:eek:

Way back I zip tied the arms, balanced the props and now have over 100 flights without any issues. Hoping to stay that way!

They're still being reported on DJIs forum. But yes I think the more vocal people have just given up, or patched it themselves and moved on.
Yep, I fixed mine and its stronger than factory or a replacement shell with Bondic. I'm not buying into their 8 weeks BS. They already have a bad rep for CS. I could of spent more money on their products but now, no thanks. One P3 will have to do

First Gen Batch ( I like that First Gen P3P :) )
I noticed some screws deeper than others in the same location.
Loosened all and snugged them down nothing yet since.
I do have one crack. Black Hub Arm. This was before unsnugging.

Why not zip ties? Rubber bands would appear to be far less restrictive and allow for movement... Hence the rubber part of their name. Don't you need something that holds the pieces together flush and tight? If I'm wrong, I apologize.

OK, I know it must have been mentioned, but I need an expert opinion. What is the best possible prop balancer, and ALL accessories to go with it? Ie nail Polish, etc? So people say it. Doesn't matter at all

Super glued mine together as well. So far so good. I still prefer this method over the others mentioned, even though it will require much more effort to seperate the shells in the future. I want the arms to be as rigid as possible...

My thought is the stiffer the better
You don't want the ARM to flex that is the reason the holes are breaking out. The added power on a weak joint and pop
so my 2 cents says zip tie over flex bands:D
