Lens Protection with Zenmuse

I plan to use the Zenmuse with my Phantom but I am a bit afraid flying without lens protection. So far I have found out about the LayerLens but it is currently out of stock. Any other idea ?

The other problem you might encounter is that these brushless gimbals require well balanced GoPro's, sticking anything else on one end or the other might throw balance off (or might require tweaking int he settings to give the motors more power?).
guess we'll find out.
