I installed the Lens Filter yesterday. Now my photos are getting black corners. Is this normal?

It's called vignetting, and is caused by the wide angle lens seeing a bit of the filter ring at the edge of the frame. Some filters show it (I have an ND that does) and some don't (my circ polariser is clear). If you apply lens correction in Photoshop or GIMP they'll disappear as part of the cropping process that involves, or you can manually crop them out of your photos.

Thanks. I have some other filters coming so will see the difference.

I am using Hoya filters at the moment.

If anyone is following, I used a Tiffen polariser today and it was better.

Once you remove the fish eye distortion, you will probably never notice that slight vignetting.
