Lens filter install

Put on a kitchen rubber glove. VERY LIGHTLY, with fingers just touching the edge, turn. The lighter the pressure, the better!

YOU, my friend, are amazing! The sledge hammer, light heat with a hair dryer, padded pliers treatment, after every other gentle technique imaginable (except your rubber glove edge only grasp) failed (and I scuffed up the cap aluminum and even put a edge stress chip on the cap glass).

After a call to the dealer asking me to bring it in (90 minute drive), I got your post and voila'! Magic.

Velvet touch beats careful heavy force! Hmmmm... ...many lessons outside of the drone world here methinks.

Onto the straight into the sun shoot with a heavy filter. A thousand thanks.

Thank you so much. I had almost given up and found some rubber gloves and still couldn't do it until i just sort of flicked the edge and it came undone. I couldn't believe it.. Thanks again.
