Lens Cover vs Support Bracket?

Hi
I have just attached a new lens cover (filter) However it is deeper than the cap that the drone comes with and now the Gimbal support bar will not fit.
Any suggestions from others who have done similar?
The only option seems to be to remove it each time prior to packing drone up, unless there is another gimbal support bracket with a larger cradle?

If it is a polar pro filter, they also make a gimbal support to suit. If not you may have to see if your brand has a similar option for you. Or continue removing it to fit the OEM guard.
