Wanting to experiment with lens attachments. Particularly IR, but I'd also like to know of lens filters that are the garden variety - so I can avoid them.
I have no intention of taking the camera apart or modifying anything beyond placing a filter over the lens.
My end goal is to get an IR filter and project (from above) an IR laser directly at the ground from an undetermined altitude.
The biggest bummer with this project is that I can't get it to zoom in much. Which brings me to why I posted this. What types of modifications can I do to the lens without turning my P3P into a Frankenstein rig.
