Hi All

I am now getting known locally as the "guy with the drone" as I do lots of local video's of the area. Anyway, as such, I keep being approached by people as its getting close to xmas and they want advice on what to buy little johnny.

A good friend has just asked and my initial question is always "how much do you want to pay?"

So. I am looking for a good starter copter with camera for around the £200 - £250 mark.

I appreciate Ebay is now awash with them ranging from £29 upwards, but I am hoping for more technical reviews from guys on here so I can offer him probably the best low cost solution.

Local flying, camera, screen or connect to iphone......

Any ideas welcome

B

Nobody is replying, so I'll just say this.

In my mind, you got your toy grade, the hobby grade, the pro grade, and up from there. Sounds like you're trying to straddle the first two grades. In my opinion, the best place to start is the large toy grade in the $100 range with perhaps a cheap video camera. MHO
