PSA for anyone flying in an unlocked area. The latest firmware updates have broken the unlock feature. Here is the response I received from Fly Safe:
"For Mavic Pro, please **do not upgrade its firmware to V01.03.0500, Phantom4 Pro not to 01.03.0417 and Inspire2 not to 01.00.0240. Because these firmware do not support unlock Restricted Zones and need to wait for next firmware.
I am sorry to tell that we need to wait for its next firmware which will support unlocking again."
I am waiting to hear back on any possible workarounds but I dialed back the firmware on the P4P and the RC and it is still broken. Scratching my head over this one.
