Last recording before crash is gone ?

Anybody know why this happened ? And can I get it back ?

Yes, one way to recover a prematurely ended video clip is to insert the SD your card into your phantom, power it on and wait for a few moments. In some cases it will recover the last file that was being recorded.

It's not gone .. it's just that the file hasn't been closed properly.
The comment above will help you do that but the last few seconds may be gone.

didn't work

i plugged it back in, turned it on... waited like 10 min. turned of and put sd card in computer. still nothing. ugh. ill try it again and report back.

Do you have a video file in the SD card with a screwed up creation date (ie, not today)? If so, there is a utility to repair it.

I had a crash a few days ago and my file was not complete so i couldn't watch it, without knowing i just repaired the phantom and carried on using and recording on the same sd card without deleting old files and last night the missing film was there so there must be something to do with adding new files as well as putting it back in the phantom for a period of time. Do a hand held movie of about 20 seconds and close it all down properly that should help.
