    Anyone know if drones are allowed in Kentucky State Parks? Trying to find out.

    Its hazardous for even regular helicopters since the #1 cash crop there a few years ago was weed.

    Not allowed in Federal Parks in Kentucky. As of last year State Parks were allowed to use their own discretion. I had permission in July 2014 to fly at Carter Caves State Park. However rules may have changed. I'd call the park directly as well as the KY dept of Parks as the information flow is quite slow. Source: I used to wok in Kentucky State Govt.

    This is old now since my time there has come and gone. I called the park director. It is up to them, as of July. It was a great spot to fly. Please make sure you get permission like I did. In writing is always good too!
