    I plan to document as much as possible with new Phantom and everything pertaining to it such as battery charging, maintenance, Faa stuff etc.
    You can make a log file if you have win 7* and every time it is opened you will get a time and date stamp.
    Open notepad and type .LOG all caps then save as with name like Phantom bla bla bla.
    * not sure if win8 and 10 have notepad though

    Seems like excessive documentation to me, but if it helps you organize your life then more power to you.

    Also, you can just hit F5 to auto-create a timestamp within any file in notepad
