Going to be out in Kauai next month and planning on flying a few days weather and wife permitting. Any suggestions of the local rules and regulations outside of the normal 5 mile airport and published no fly zones.

Dont know if any of the beautiful scenery areas are any type of National Park, etc. but beware of the restrictions to flying from them. And I am officially jealous!

No national parks on Kauai that I am aware of. Wasn't sure of state or regional. 3 years again I saw my first Phantom flying and knew I wanted one then. First time returning since joining the ranks.

I'm also headed to Maui in May 2017 and was thinking about bring my P3. Anyone know if there are any flying restrictions there (beaches, resort properties, etc.)?
