Its hard to say no to the cheap Phantom 3 batteries. :(

I was just on ebay and saw the P3 knock off batteries for 58 :O dang.
I know they can void the warranty and might brick with a firmware update but the price does seem good.
I think its knowing the right thing to do And actually doing it.I just keep thinking somebody has to be buying them if the keep making them,,,,

There will always be someone who looks at just the price and not the possible 'cost'. With a little shopping, you can find DJI batteries for less than $100 what these cost. So is saving $100 worth risking a $600 bird? If the battery fails and the bird falls, just having to replace the shell could wipe out most of your savings and if you damage the gimbal or other expensive part, well.......
I'm all in favor of bargains and spending as little as possible, but seem times you can be"penny wise and pound foolish".

To be honest... I bought a 3rd party battery and no problems, it was slightly more powerful too, was flawless... But I sold it after about 8 flights as I didn't want to risk it lol

I have decided my 1st extra battery will be a Dji original . But 3rd will be a discount to just see for myself what happens
